Seth Homa Receives FM Title

In his 76th FIDE rated game, FM Seth Homa has achieved an elo rating over 2300. The Lansing Chess Club congratulates FM Homa on his new FIDE Title. He joins a short list of players from the region to have accomplished so much over the chess board.

His current FIDE rating of 2302 puts him nearly in the top 8000 in the world, the top 5000 active players in the world, and #345 of the FIDE-rated US players. His USCF rating of 2328 places him at #6 of the players in Michigan to beat.
